MEETINGS
Duryea Borough Council convenes to hold a monthly
meeting on the second Tuesday of every month. The
monthly meetings are held approve the minutes of the
previous meeting, read the correspondence, and pay
all bills, salaries, wages and commissions. The
financial report, code enforcement officer, fire
chief’s report and police report are read to inform
elected officials and borough residents of
activities of the recent month. Council members take
action by voting on issues that need to be addressed
for the betterment of Duryea Borough. Residents are
encouraged to attend these meetings and voice their
concerns and opinions regarding our community.
